This is among the earliest of Roth's Italian etchings done in his soft early style: the ancient shops on the beloved bridge are rendered with the greatest delicacy. This etching is very similar to Roth's #11, Ponte Vecchio, Evening, Florence, 1906. An excellent impression in fine condition.
